The Commands of Christ

We're to love God with everything we have. God says repeatedly in the Old Testament that love means having our heart set on Him, listening to what He says (aka in His Word), and obeying what what He commands. Of the commands in Scripture, here are twelve that are fundamental.

We'll do study one command at a time, note the verse it comes from, and a story that illustrates it. Groups can discuss the stories. Reading, praying about, and discussing these will give us a greater understanding of what it means to truly abide in Christ.
